After running the MFO site for five years, and with the 40 year anniversary of the MFO coming up in April 2022, I decided it was time for a revamp.
As you can see the old .co.uk domain name is no longer active, the new site can now be reached on the url https://www.mfo-sharm-el-sheikh.com. The new domain should reflect better what this site is all about.
Furthermore, the design and layout have seen an update. The site now works far better on mobile and I’ve made provisions to expand the site in the future with new functionalities, more about that later.
One of these new functionalities is a blog, and commenting is on (moderated) so feel free to join or start a discussion. This is in my opinion an essential part of the website as it will allow me to post updates, news snippets, reports from others, get in touch directly with readers and lots more. The mission of the MFO is to supervise the implementation of the security provisions of the Egyptian-Israeli Treaty of Peace and employ best efforts to prevent any violation of its terms.
